High Mast Poles heights shall follow the natural contour of the field. There is no need to raise or lower plinth heights to equalise all plinths to be the same. Each flood lighting arrangement is designed to be set at the height of the immediate ground level in its designated position.

Measure each foundation location as per the design specification.

Mark out each foundation parameter as per the design specification. 

Geotechnical field work comprising of penetration tests and borings to obtain soil samples for assessment at each high mast pole location. 

Excavate and keep topsoil to re-instate as per the design specification. Remove excess earth to designated location. 

Fence excavated foundation for public safety. 

Set out footings ready for the reinforcing cage. 

Assemble reinforcing cage, inclusive of flange template and Hiab into position. Assembly is commonly executed onsite due to the dimensions exceeding truck deck width. 

Set cage height and position. 

Secure flange template into position and fit threaded rod and nut set. 

Set threaded rob and nut set to required height to accept the bottom section of the high mast pole with allowance for levelling and dry pack. As per design specification. 

Fit and secure conduit.

Excavation and foundation, pre pour inspection milestone. 

Place concrete to pre-determined height as per design specifications. 

Level off ready for plinth formwork. 

Plinth formwork and pour to pre-determined height as per design specifications. 

Foundation complete milestone. Allow 28 days to cure before fitting the bottom section of the high mast pole. 

This section will be populated with the next stage of installation.
