Raise funds to pay for your sports field flood lighting using GalaBid’s RISK FREE Online Raffle Solution!

Raffle Info for Sports Clubs, Raise funds to pay for your sports field flood lighting using GalaBid’s RISK FREE Online Raffle Solution!, HOW IT WORKS The Process The process for selling raffle tickets online using GalaBid is simple – watch GalaBid’s Raffle Video and view the Raffle Demo for more information. The Cost The cost of using GalaBid’s raffle platform is 5% of the maximum potential turnover of your raffle (e.g. ticket cost multiplied by number of tickets for sale) which is invoiced within 5 days of your raffle closing. This is a fixed fee, not a ‘commission’. Use GalaBid free of charge by asking a local real estate agent to sponsor GalaBid’s fee (the cost is negligible for them but offers great ROI). In return, just offer them a benefit package like the one below: •	Your logo featured prominently on the campaign banner on our online auction site (we’re using GalaBid to facilitate our online raffle – view their demos at Global Raffle and NZDemo). •	A dedicated ‘sponsors’ page on our auction site featuring your logo hyperlinked to your website (example). •	A copy of the participant data (name, email, mobile) after the draw which is legally gathered via GalaBid when people register to purchase raffle tickets. •	Your logo on our club website page promoting the raffle which will be live for 2 months. •	Your logo on all our emails/newsletters promoting the raffle (e.g. 4 x EDMs to 500,000 contacts over 2 months) •	2 x shoutouts on our social media platforms acknowledging your support at the launch and after closing our raffle (e.g. Facebook 500, Instagram 350 etc) •	Opportunity to promote the raffle on your own website and social media sites using official campaign branding The Prize Ask a local car or boat dealership to provide a car/boat at wholesale price ‘on consignment’ as the raffle prize. On consignment means you only buy it if you sell enough raffle tickets to cover the cost. If you don’t sell enough tickets, you simply don’t buy the car/boat and refund all ticket holders for the cost of their tickets via GalaBid. As a sweetener for the dealership, tell them how many people you intend promoting the raffle to (e.g. number of members, social media followers and email database contacts) and that you can drive foot traffic to their dealership by including a line in the raffle description suggesting people view the prize on display in their showroom. The Rules Online raffles (or ‘remote interactive gambling’) are permitted in New Zealand providing you adhere to the Gambling Class 3 Lottery Licence Rules. The main ones being: •	You must be a society (e.g. a group formed for non-commercial purposes) •	The prize must not be a prohibited prize •	The value of the prize, or collective value of multiple prizes, must exceed $5,000 •	The value of the prize, or collective value of multiple prizes, must be at least 20% of the maximum potential turnover of the raffle •	You hold a Class 3 Operator’s Licence.
